When using Epson Scan version 3.7 or later on Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9) the program will crash and potentially display the message below.
You will need to update your driver, using the Apple Software Update tool. To do this, click the icon and then click Software Update. Install any updates available for your Epson product. In the event that an update is not available via this software then please use Apple’s Image Capture software. For information on how to use Image Capture, click here.
